Vinka Kitarovic’s biography has two main themes: the history of women’s emancipation and women’s engagement on the public stage; and the history of transnational collective movements in contemporary Europe. The Dossier opens with an analysis of the ways in which European unification has reduced the differences between member states from a gender, generational and class perspective. It continues by examining, also from a diachronic perspective, the issues of gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work. And it closes by presenting a series of public history paths and experiences that cross-referenced the topics at the centre of the seminar “Women, Work and Rights in Europe”.

Abstract
Vinka Kitarovic’s biography has two main themes: the history of women’s emancipation and women’s engagement on the public stage; and the history of transnational collective movements in contemporary Europe. The Dossier opens with an analysis of the ways in which European unification has reduced the differences between member states from a gender, generational and class perspective. It continues by examining, also from a diachronic perspective, the issues of gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work. And it closes by presenting a series of public history paths and experiences that cross-referenced the topics at the centre of the seminar “Women, Work and Rights in Europe”.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
