A second (March 30-April 24) and third (March 28-April 22) joint excavation campaign between the Universities of Ghent, Louvain and the Mediterranean Archaeological Society of Crete took place at Pyla-Kokkinokremos in 2015-2016.Following our first campaign, much attention was given to the continuation of work started in the different parts of the hill. In Sector 3, this entailed continuing tests in the central and north-eastern part of the summit to explore whether the plateau had been integrally occupied during the main phase of settlement, Late Cypriot IIC-IIIA, and what the nature of this occupation was. In Sector 4, this implied the continuous exploration both to the north and south of the architectural complexes on either side of the West Gate. Moreover, a new area more than 40 m to the south was also explored. Architectural remains were encountered everywhere. To the south-east of the summit, in Sector 5, where the walls are better preserved, a dozen more spaces were explored.

Abstract
To the south-east of the summit, in Sector 5, where the walls are better preserved, a dozen more spaces were explored.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
