During the second half of the twelfth century, Burgundio of Pisa translated several works of Galen, including the introductory book De pulsibus ad tirones and the third and fourth books of the treatise De causis pulsuum, a lemmatic commentary on the Ad tirones. This paper examines the vocabulary and the stylistic features of these two translations demostrating their interdependence, and dates them as related to the translations of Burgundio known so far.
