Um Husserl heterónimo de Pessoa. Entre a atitude poética e a atitude fenomenológica

Attempts to establish a connection between Fernando Pessoa and Edmund Husserl have not been lacking, interpreting the poetry of one in light of the philosophy of the other, albeit with due caution, given the complete absence of contact between them and the evident diversity of intentions. The results, however, have been mostly negative, and interpreters have primarily chosen to emphasize the limits of Husserl's phenomenology in the face of the “absolute objectivism” of the verses of Alberto Caeiro, the “neo-pagan” poet whom Fernando Pessoa designates as the “master” of his heteronyms. Nevertheless, we believe that another interpretation is possible without denying the insurmountable gap that separates Edmund Husserl and Alberto Caeiro, a heteronym of Fernando Pessoa, due to the principle underlying both the poetic and phenomenological attitude: the “pure vision.”
