This paper proposes a philological analysis of Eugraphius’ commentary on And. 281-298 (27.3-29.15 W.), discussing and interpreting the most problematic passages and, where necessary, proposing emendations to Wessner’s text. Furthermore, through the analysis of some loci critici, the paper will highlight a number of theoretical and practical problems that were not appropriately addressed by Wessner and that the future editor of the commentary will have to face.
Il contributo propone un’analisi filologica del commento di Eugrafio ad And. 281-298 (27.3-29.15 W.): vengono discussi ed interpretati i passaggi che sembrano maggiormente problematici e, dove necessario, sono suggerite delle proposte di emendazione al testo stabilito da Wessner. L’analisi dei singoli loci critici offre anche l’occasione per mettere in luce alcuni problemi teorici e pratici che non sono stati opportunamente affrontati da Wessner e con cui, pertanto, dovrà necessariamente confrontarsi il futuro editore del commentario.
