Implications for practice and research It is imperative to implement midwifery curricula that are non-Eurocentric but inclusive and representative of different groups, viewpoints and voices. Amplifying the voice, opinion and presence of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic midwives will improve the quality and safety of BAME women, children and families.
