Fan Yusu is well known as the domestic migrant worker whose memoir went viral overnight in spring 2017. However, her actual work is only rarely considered from a literary perspective. This article endeavours to analyse some of the main elements that shape Fan’s work, as a case of contemporary working-class literature.
