Sustainable transition perspectives for medium-sized cities. The city of Cesena and the Vigne neighbourhood. The role of medium-sized cities in the national context is relevant in the scenario of transition towards resilient and sustainable urban models: there are about 130 urban systems that gather 37% of the total population. The case of the city of Cesena in Emilia-Romagna is interesting. The city participates in the Green City Accord - Clean and Healthy Cities for Europe network, within the framework of the European Commission's DG Environment. This is a network of European cities that promotes the development of actions for the ecological transition, with a timeframe of 2030, in the scenario of the general objectives of the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is expected to enhance a wide system of sustainable mobility integrated with public spaces, facilitating the relationship between the railway station area, intermobility node and access to the city, with the main urban polarities.

Abstract
It is expected to enhance a wide system of sustainable mobility integrated with public spaces, facilitating the relationship between the railway station area, intermobility node and access to the city, with the main urban polarities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
