Coordination is a central aspect in the engineering of complex systems, and is then a crucial issue of both multi-agent systems (MASs) and Web Services. Models, infrastructures, and tools have been devised in MAS for specifying and supporting coordination activities at a proper level of abstraction. In this paper, we discuss the integration of TuCSoN coordination infrastructure for MAS in a Web Services context. From one side, the integration enhances TuCSoN openness, making its coordination services exploitable by any Web agent. From the other side, TuCSoN coordination services can be exploited for supporting the dynamic composition and coordination of Web Services.

Abstract
Coordination is a central aspect in the engineering of complex systems, and is then a crucial issue of both multi-agent systems (MASs) and Web Services. Models, infrastructures, and tools have been devised in MAS for specifying and supporting coordination activities at a proper level of abstraction. In this paper, we discuss the integration of TuCSoN coordination infrastructure for MAS in a Web Services context. From one side, the integration enhances TuCSoN openness, making its coordination services exploitable by any Web agent. From the other side, TuCSoN coordination services can be exploited for supporting the dynamic composition and coordination of Web Services.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
