The wooden construction systems, particularly Cross Laminated Timber, have met with considerable success and established themselves as an alternative technology thanks to the great versatility of recently developed technical solutions. In this work, the results obtained in advanced research in building acoustics are reviewed, and the limits still existing in the knowledge of these building systems are highlighted.
