This review represents an attempt to summarise all regimens clarithromycin based proposed in the last International Meetings. More than 10,000 patients were treated and most of them (around 5,000) were found to have a peptic ulcer disease which represents no more than 10-15% of our endoscopic findings. The PPI regimens with clarithromycin g/day are definitely the most representative drug policy appeared in literature.
