This paper investigates how the massive post-pandemic use of Zoom for simultaneous interpretation (SI) has transformed its practice and teaching. Drawing on data from refresher courses and the University of Bologna's MA Pro- gram in Interpreting, the study identifies challenges and best practices for utiliz- ing this general-purpose video-conferencing platform in remote SI.
