This paper aims to analyse the activity of the company Morandini Film Distribution in order to investigate the strategic role played by Italian-speaking communities within the complex network of distribution practices of Italian films in the Swiss national context. In this perspective, it will be particularly useful to focus on the successful phenomenon of the Italian Christmas comedies tradition in Switzerland.
