Ragazze cattive. "Assassination Nation" e l’evoluzione del teen movie tra exploitation e panico morale

The aim of this paper is to analyse the case of the movie "Assassination Nation" in relation to the evolution of the juvenile delinquent drama. Through a historiographical reconstruction, it will be possible to point out the components of exploitation and moral panic that have influenced the definition of this particular subgenre of teen movie since its origin. It will thus be possible to stress the significance of the film in relation to the cultural production system of its own time.
