A review. Reactions that occur within or between mol. crystals, in particular those reactions that are activated by mech. methods, are reviewed. The focus is on processes (whether intrasolid or intersolid) that are controlled primarily by supramol. bonding, such as template cycloaddns., formation of inclusion compds., reactions between mol. crystals by the reassembling of noncovalent bonds, and the formation of complexes and coordination compds. It is proposed that solvent-free mechanochem. methods, for example, cogrinding, milling, and kneading, represent viable "green" routes for the prepn. of novel mol. and supramol. solids

Abstract
It is proposed that solvent-free mechanochem. methods, for example, cogrinding, milling, and kneading, represent viable "green" routes for the prepn. of novel mol. and supramol. solidsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
