The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of the pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) on pain relief and functional capacity of dogs with osteoarthritis (OA) and its impact on quality of life. The effectiveness of the PEMF therapy has been demonstrated in humane field1, while only a few physical therapy reports have been published concerning dogs.
