This poster presents the results of a design project developed at Politecnico di Milano (Design Department), in the framework of an overall applied research on the reception of refugees. The project was developed in cooperation with the Department for Social Policies and Culture of Health of the Municipality of Milan. The main goal was the generation of a system of low-cost multilingual communication artefacts for the reception centres of the city of Milan, in order to help the refugees during their period of stay. Its value relies also on the participatory process that directly involved all the actors concerned.
