The main features of an electric drive for electric vehicles (EVs) should be the capability to exploit the maximum torque in the whole speed range, a weak dependence on the motor parameters, a good robustness against the variations of the dc-link voltage and, whenever possible, the maximum efficiency. In this paper a control scheme for induction motors, with all these features, is presented. The performance of the control scheme is verified by experimental tests.

Abstract
The main features of an electric drive for electric vehicles (EVs) should be the capability to exploit the maximum torque in the whole speed range, a weak dependence on the motor parameters, a good robustness against the variations of the dc-link voltage and, whenever possible, the maximum efficiency. In this paper a control scheme for induction motors, with all these features, is presented. The performance of the control scheme is verified by experimental tests.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
