Una semiosfera confusa. Ideas para una tipología de la cultura contemporánea

The paper aims to outline some typological features of the contemporary semiosphere, characterized by a regime of confusion that crosses not only the media but all the discursive spheres that are shaped and relaunched by the media. In particular, it will be highlighted how the problem of current truth and post-truth have to do with a very changed and hybridized concept of reality, with a privatized conception of truth and with a criterion of irrational "duciary adhesion that it has several aspects in common with the hermetic paradigm de"ned by Eco as an alternative to that of Western rationality. To concretize these re#ections, some examples relating to the pandemic experience will be provided.
