Abstract
The four clusters Ru~(C~)~~~-~~:~~:~~-C~H~-{~~-CCH~CH~)Z-~,~~, 1, RU~(CO)~~~-~~:~~:~~- CsH4-{7;12-CCH3CHz}~-1,3), 2, Ru~(CO)~~~-~~:~~:~~-~~H~-{~~-~~H~~~Z}~, 3, and RudCO)10- ~3-~2:g2:~2-CsH5-(~z-CCH3CH~}), 4, have been prepared and characterized both spectro scopically and by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The presence of the propenyl substituent(s) on the aromatic ligands results in the observed preference of the rings toward a facial coordination mode, formally donating all their n-electrons to the metal cluster unit.File in questo prodotto:
