The numerical errors introduced by finite numerical accuracy and round off in arithmetic operations is analyzed for some model maps having a regular and chatic behaviour. A comparison with the effect of random perturbations is carried out by considering the fidelity ad dynamica indicator. The reversibility error due to round off is also considered.

Abstract
