While many contributions have inquired legal or political ways to stop Covid Vaccines Patents or grant access to developed countries in spite of the industrial property, this Article - Editorial focuses on problem not debated a much: the interference and possible derivation of the main vaccines from prior patented technologies or from reciprocal patented developments. It is therefore analyzed the legal framework in case of such "patent clash" and the possible solutions. This article ha been somehow confirmed some months later, when the patentees of the two main mRNA vaccines have reciprocically sued themselves for patent infringment on each own technology.
