Traditional crafts in Egypt have succeeded in bringing the rich history of the country to the modern fast paced contemporary life. This is achieved when artisans apply traditional techniques to craft products to be used in everyday life. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to promoting activities that develop traditional crafts in Egypt. The traditional crafts scene in Egypt is quite alarming. There are more than two hundred traditional crafts in Egypt, after the disappearance of 70 crafts while 30 other crafts are about to die, this makes it crucial to support the 100 crafts which are fighting to survive. (Ghazali, 2018). Recently, there has been a growing interest in promoting crafts in the development agenda of social enterprises in Egypt. The collaborations between social enterprises, designers and artisans can contribute significantly in solving the problem of crafts extinction. In order to support this argument, interviews and case studies were conducted, along with a survey of 105 participants. Product Service System will be implemented to create a platform which will enable all stakeholders to work effectively together. This platform is a website that aims at promoting collaborations between designers and artisans. It will also provide open access for Egyptian crafts to the international market.
