This contribution will attempt to address and deepen the pedagogical aspects related to the dual dimension of disability and migration in the light of some research and reference studies. The main objective is to analyse the crucial issues related to this double belonging, in order to outline perspectives that could favour the adoption of an inclusive approach. In this direction, it is particularly important to continue to promote studies and research aimed at reading the needs of migrant families with a disabled child and identifying effective "coeducational practices" to accompany and involve them in their child's life project. This, while being aware that certain variables such as the experience of exile, the traumas caused by the migratory journey, the representations of disability, the presence or absence of networks, are crucial aspects in the process and in the inclusive success of families confronted with their child's disability far from their own affections and cultural references.

Abstract
This contribution will attempt to address and deepen the pedagogical aspects related to the dual dimension of disability and migration in the light of some research and reference studies. The main objective is to analyse the crucial issues related to this double belonging, in order to outline perspectives that could favour the adoption of an inclusive approach. In this direction, it is particularly important to continue to promote studies and research aimed at reading the needs of migrant families with a disabled child and identifying effective "coeducational practices" to accompany and involve them in their child's life project. This, while being aware that certain variables such as the experience of exile, the traumas caused by the migratory journey, the representations of disability, the presence or absence of networks, are crucial aspects in the process and in the inclusive success of families confronted with their child's disability far from their own affections and cultural references.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
