How does the fact that matter is made up of subtle energy – which seems to take the form of information – influence the conception of corporeality and of the human being as a whole? Starting from a new paradigm according to which body is no longer a machine and a collection of autonomous apparatuses, but an inter- acting system in which nothing inside is separable and is in constant interaction with the external environment, what new educational needs do we recognise and how do we provide for them? This commits one to a view of self and world in terms of an otherness that promotes dialogical reciprocity over oppositional duality, both in the knowledge of a self that is still other (possible and unexplored), and in the experience of the world as the other part of oneself. The result is a redefinition of well-being and being well in a profound, complex, and plural sense of balances-integrationsharmonies of the human being with himself and with the other (in a broad sense, including the wider cosmic dimension).
