This paper aims to investigate the connection between visual disabilities and access to culture, considered a fundamentalaspect for achieving full participation in social life. The inclusion of people with visual impairments in Higher Educationis particularly challenging, especially in those areas of knowledge that would seem to exclude them entirely, like thevisual arts. The paper focuses on the accessibility of university courses and subjects related to Art and Architecture forblind and visually impaired students. The Erasmus+ InVisIBLE project takes up this challenge and, thanks to the synergeticwork of an interdisciplinary partnership, aims to make university courses of History of Architecture accessible to all, without inequalities. The article presents the results aimed at by the InVisIBLe project, highlighting its potential positiveeffects in the cultural and educational fields and, in conclusion, offers a reflection on the importance of adopting inclusive didactics in schools and universities to promote an increasingly inclusive society.
