The first two paragraphs analyse the artist’s Italian graphic style and its change once Nicolò dell’Abate (Modena, 1509 – Paris, 1571), following his transfer to the French court in 1552, meets the artistic circle of the school of Fontainebleau. The last two paragraphs, however, focus on the examination of the preparatory drawings for the Fleury-en-Bière castle, in which Nicolò worked for Cosme Clausse (1553 -1555), and on the analysis of the drawings of the last decade of the artist’s activity (1560-1571).

The last two paragraphs, however, focus on the examination of the preparatory drawings for the Fleury-en-Bière castle, in which Nicolò worked for Cosme Clausse (1553 -1555), and on the analysis of the drawings of the last decade of the artist’s activity (1560-1571).
