Il patrimonio storico-educativo per la formazione docente : esperienze tra ricerca e didattica = The historical educational heritage for teacher training : experiences between research and teaching

Since the 1980s, Italy has born witness to a rich season of renewal of the themes and methods of school and educational historiography, paving the way for theoretical reflection and teaching practices on the set of material culture of school and education, defined as an authentic historical and educational heritage. This contribution describes the some of the school and education museums in Italy as a resource for research and teaching, and then focuses attention on innovative university teacher training experiences undertaken, even where specific school museums are not yet present.

Dagli anni Ottanta la storiografia educativa e scolastica in Italia ha conosciuto una feconda stagione di rinnovamento dei temi e dei metodi, aprendo la strada alla riflessione teorica ed alla pratica didattica sul complesso di quella cultura materiale della scuola e dell’educazione definita come vero e proprio patrimonio storico-educativo. Il contributo delinea la presenza di alcune realtà di musei della scuola e dell’educazione in Italia come risorsa per la ricerca e per la didattica, per poi soffermare l’attenzione su esperienze di didattica universitaria innovativa, diretta alla formazione degli insegnanti e realizzata anche là dove specifici musei della scuola non sono ancora presenti.
