In the historic centre of Naples, declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 1995, buildings of particular value emerge. If the tangible part - the materials of architecture - is easier to identify, the intangible part - the historical indoor microclimate - constitutes a fundamental and specific component of a building. Alongside the conservation measures already taken for the heritage architectures investigated in this paper, it is necessary to develop new models of preventive conservation, including the analysis of risk factors connected to the indoor microclimate. Furthermore, it is necessary to question the role that Climate Change will have on this indoor environment and, consequently, on Cultural Heritage. This essay aims to assess the indoor microclimate risk factors in order to counteract «the dangers that threaten [...] cultural or natural heritage» (Art. 5 of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Unesco, 1972).

Abstract
5 of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Unesco, 1972).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
