The occurrence of work-related injuries and illnesses is to be considered a priority issue for workers' health. The present study aims at examining the impact of psychosocial predictor on safety behavior among emergency workers. Results show that safety compliance and the use of protection devices were predicted by risk perception and safety climate. Risk perception and priorities of safety versus production influenced reporting risks. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
