Omphacitite is a particular type of ‘‘jade’’ and deserves wide interest in HP metamorphic petrology and archeology (see e.g., Harlow et al. 2012). This contribution presents the first discovery of lawsonite- bearing omphacitite in blueschist-facies metagabbro from Alpine Corsica.
