Nomen-Verb-Verbindungen im korpusgestützten inner- und zwischensprachlichen Vergleich. Eine Fallstudie zur Ausgestaltung des semantischen Frames Entscheiden im Deutschen und Italienischen

Without doubt, the possibility of investigating huge amounts of mono-, bi- and plurilingual data – including large scale domain-focused corpora such as the German Legal Corpus GeLeCo and the linguistic resources drawn from the EU database EurLex –, together with the development of ever more sophisticated corpus-linguistic tools, have opened new horizons in the study of language use. In order to gain further insight into linguistic microvariation, this paper offers a German-Italian qualitative-quantitative case study on the verbal realizations of the semantic frame Deciding. After examining the wide range of different expressions, it focuses on the microregularities in language use which can be observed in an intra- and interlinguistic analysis of both the occurrencies of the verbonominal constructions with the verbal noun Entscheidung and their corresponding verb entscheiden.
