Getrude is a business process modeling methodology centered on object orientation. The approach is bottom-up. A technique similar to use cases is the starting point of the analysis: we generate scenarios and we identify the people and their roles. OMT is then used to get a picture of the structure of the enterprise. Afterwards, we produce activity based forms to validate our model against a time-evolving reality. If the “online analysis” does not match the “off-line” picture we go back to the beginning and we start modeling again. Eventually, we get a picture of the reality: it is the basis of the re-engineering process.

Abstract
Getrude is a business process modeling methodology centered on object orientation. The approach is bottom-up. A technique similar to use cases is the starting point of the analysis: we generate scenarios and we identify the people and their roles. OMT is then used to get a picture of the structure of the enterprise. Afterwards, we produce activity based forms to validate our model against a time-evolving reality. If the “online analysis” does not match the “off-line” picture we go back to the beginning and we start modeling again. Eventually, we get a picture of the reality: it is the basis of the re-engineering process.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
