EnglishThe contribution explores the features and role of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bologna. The institute, besides the regular language teaching activities and cultural events organization, has a strong specialization in the legal field with a special attention to core topics, including the most recent developments in contemporary Chinese law; the dialogue between Eastern law and the western legal tradition; and the legal aspects of the Belt & Road Initiative.
