In this paper some numerical results obtained by the MHD research unit of the University of Bologna are presented. The investigation is performed utilizing a numerical code based on low magnetic Reynolds number approximation. The first case presented regards a numerical investigation on the results of a recent experiment on the MHD interaction. The experiments has been carried out on a sharp cone in an ionized argon flow. A sensitivity analysis is performed on the impact of the electric transport properties of the plasma. The effect of the Hall current density on the efficiency of the MHD interaction are analyzed as well.

Abstract
In this paper some numerical results obtained by the MHD research unit of the University of Bologna are presented. The investigation is performed utilizing a numerical code based on low magnetic Reynolds number approximation. The first case presented regards a numerical investigation on the results of a recent experiment on the MHD interaction. The experiments has been carried out on a sharp cone in an ionized argon flow. A sensitivity analysis is performed on the impact of the electric transport properties of the plasma. The effect of the Hall current density on the efficiency of the MHD interaction are analyzed as well.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
