The article aims at articulating insights from Italian Theory and World-Ecology. Its goal is to show that, although such perspectives relate to the issue of (ecological) crisis in very different terms, they can effectively integrate each other if transposed on another theoretical level - that of a labour-based genealogy of the question concerning the environment. From such convergence a new interpretation of the ecological crisis of contemporary capitalism can emerge.

Abstract
The article aims at articulating insights from Italian Theory and World-Ecology. Its goal is to show that, although such perspectives relate to the issue of (ecological) crisis in very different terms, they can effectively integrate each other if transposed on another theoretical level - that of a labour-based genealogy of the question concerning the environment. From such convergence a new interpretation of the ecological crisis of contemporary capitalism can emerge.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
