The paper deals with the so-called 'Byzantine' inverted T-shaped iron anchors found in the northern Adriatic Sea, near the Italian coast. Unpublished specimens, as well as published ones, are presented and discussed. The chronology of this type of anchor is between the 6th and 10th centuries.
Il contributo tratta delle ancore in ferro a T rovesciata, cosiddette "bizantine", rinvenute nell'alto Adriatico, presso le coste italiane. Vengono presentati e discussi esemplari inediti, oltre a quelli editi. La cronologia di questa tipologia di ancore si colloca tra il VI e il X secolo.
