The article discusses three main points: (1) the superiority of machine over men in speed, focus, etc., (2) if a link exists to allow communication between the man in command and the machine, then there is also a way to hack into the system, and penetrate the machine (a.k.a. “if there is a link, there is a way”) and (3) the questionable morality of autocracies when they have to strategic imperatives or human life (especially if it is the lives of enemies). These three reasons combined explain why the war of fully autonomous machines may soon become inevitable.

Abstract
The article discusses three main points: (1) the superiority of machine over men in speed, focus, etc., (2) if a link exists to allow communication between the man in command and the machine, then there is also a way to hack into the system, and penetrate the machine (a.k.a. “if there is a link, there is a way”) and (3) the questionable morality of autocracies when they have to strategic imperatives or human life (especially if it is the lives of enemies). These three reasons combined explain why the war of fully autonomous machines may soon become inevitable.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
