Abstract
The oxygen transport properties of LDPE films coated with different kinds of hybrid coatings were then obtained in terms of permeability and diffusivity at 35 and 50 °C, and their correlation to various structural and processing parameters is discussed. In this contribution, in particular, we report data obtained at different organic/inorganic (O/I) ratios and for different PE-PEG molecular weights. A second paper of this series re- ports the effects induced in the oxygen permeability by changing the organic phase composition with hydrogen bonding capable organics and by treating with plasma the LDPE surface prior to coating.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
