After V.N. Toporov introduced the concept of ‘Saint Petersburg text’, the field of Russian Studies has witnessed what might be called a ‘textological turn’. As a con- sequence, several studies concerning various ‘texts’ appeared, culminating in Liusyi’s monograph devoted to the ‘Moscow text’. Here, Liusyi explores the possibility of adopt- ing the notion of ‘Caucasian text’ of Russian literature. However, this ‘umbrella expres- sion’ proves to be too loose, especially if considering the Armenian case. The present essay argues the necessity of introducing the concept of ‘Armenian text’ of Russian lit- erature, taking travel writing as a starting point.

Abstract
The present essay argues the necessity of introducing the concept of ‘Armenian text’ of Russian lit- erature, taking travel writing as a starting point.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
