Brevi riflessioni sulla proposta di creare l'Euro digitale

The aim of this paper is to present some brief reflections on the digital euro, which could become the third currency of the BCE, 28/05/2021 1 28/05/2021www.contabilita-pubblica.it Dottrina www.contabilita-pubblica.it having the same function as the paper-based euro. There are still many problems, but the latest indications suggest that there is a willingness to take on the digital euro to be entrusted to European citizens, who can use it for commercial purposes and not for investment.

Nel presente lavoro si è voluto sottoporre talune brevi riflessioni sull'euro digitale che diventerebbe la terza moneta della BCE, avendo la stessa funzione dell'euro cartaceo. Molti sono ancora i problemi aperti ma dalle ultime indicazioni parrebbe emergere la volontà di assumere l'euro digitale ai cittadini europei i quali dovrebbero utilizzare tale moneta ai fini commerciali e non d'investimento.
