La comunicazione della consistenza e delle evoluzioni del tessuto urbano del centro storico di Bologna

The purpose of this paper is to show the first phases of a research and show methodologies and procedures that have been explored within the Course of "Laboratorio Progettuale di Disegno dell'Architettura I", first year of the Degree in Ingegneria Edile/Architettura at the Faculty of Engineering of Bologna. The research is led by Anna Maria Manferdini and Massimo Ballabeni in order to provide methodologies and graphic representations to show the complexity of a stratificated urban fabric (such as the historical city center of Bologna) and stress different analysis and interpretations that can suggest criteria for its promotion and valorization. The starting point of this research consists in an archive of homogeneous graphic representation of urban fabric created by using digital technologies that allow to manage different kinds of information and to customize interactive cognitive investigations.
