Presidente del Consiglio e ruolo del Parlamento: il mosaico dell’indirizzo politico (europeo)

This paper deals with the information procedures and parliamentary policy-control that take place in relation to the participation of the government in the decision-making processes of the European Union. Moreover, a particular attention is paid to parliamentary procedures aimed at influencing the political position of the Italian President of the Council when it comes to attending the European Council meetings. More specifically, this paper aims to analyze the practical implementation of the Italian law no. 234 of 2012 during the 18th Legislature, which placed some duties for the government towards the Parliament in the abovementioned procedures.
