Starting from ten interviews with teachers, this article explores the pedagogical implications of artistic expression with respect to the Teaching of Catholic Religion (IRC) and, in general, with reference to religious education in a multicultural context. The contributions collected open some paths for reflection. First of all, they suggest a renewed consideration of artistic expression in its connection with the religious dimension, without reducing the former to a mere tool of didactic mediation. On the other hand, they allow to highlight the specific nature of IRC itself as a place of education of personal religiosity, conceived as a personal, educable capability: the living core of every concrete religious experience and affiliation.
