Over the last two decades justice systems have undergone several waves of reforms that have deeply changed the organization and the array of services and answers delivered by the justice systems toward the citizens and the communities. This article addresses the issue of the organizational reforms and the technological innovations through the lenses of a guiding question: the promise of more equality which is embedded into the reforms’ design. This promise has been made coherently with the mainstreaming international standards. The article casts light on the gap between the demands and the capacities delivered by the technologies and by the standardized models of organization.

Abstract
Over the last two decades justice systems have undergone several waves of reforms that have deeply changed the organization and the array of services and answers delivered by the justice systems toward the citizens and the communities. This article addresses the issue of the organizational reforms and the technological innovations through the lenses of a guiding question: the promise of more equality which is embedded into the reforms’ design. This promise has been made coherently with the mainstreaming international standards. The article casts light on the gap between the demands and the capacities delivered by the technologies and by the standardized models of organization.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
