We employ a new Brillouin ring laser (BRL) source based on an actively stabilized doubly resonant short cavity layout for Brillouin optical time-domain analysis (BOTDA) sensing. Compared to BRL designs that we have previously demonstrated, it presents improved SNR, narrow spectral linewidth and pump-probe frequency shift values with high temporal stability.

Abstract
We employ a new Brillouin ring laser (BRL) source based on an actively stabilized doubly resonant short cavity layout for Brillouin optical time-domain analysis (BOTDA) sensing. Compared to BRL designs that we have previously demonstrated, it presents improved SNR, narrow spectral linewidth and pump-probe frequency shift values with high temporal stability.File in questo prodotto:
