The discovery of the payment receipt for the stained glass of the Vaselli Chapel in the Basilica of San Petronio not only sheds light on the personality of its creator, Giacomo di Agostino Cabrini, but also redefines the chronology of the works carried out inside the Chapel by the canon Donato Vaselli at the end of the fifteenth century. The arrival on the scene of Giacomo di Agostino, a member of the most prestigious family of Bolognese glassmakers active in the second half of the fifteenth century, renders it essential to re-visit the authorship of the artworks that overtime have been attributed to some members of their workshop. This re-examining also permits us to clarify some of the kinship ties between members of the Cabrini family.

Abstract
This re-examining also permits us to clarify some of the kinship ties between members of the Cabrini family.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
