Immagini pensanti. Post-memorie dell'Africa nel lungo-metraggio e nel corto-metraggio portoghese.

The article is a reflection on the relationship between images and the evocation processes. In particular, the analysis of the artistic production of colonial post-memory questions the gaps of the Portuguese past in Africa and its official representations. It focuses on a selection of feature films and short films as an expression of the relationship between memory transmission of trauma and the possibility of its representation, starting from the will to re-imagine the past in the present.

L’articolo presenta una riflessione sulla relazione tra immagini e processo di rievocazione. In particolare, l’analisi della produzione artistica della post- memoria coloniale che interroga le lacune del passato portoghese in Africa e le sue rappresentazioni ufficiali, si focalizza su una selezione di lungometraggi e cortometraggi in quanto espressione del rapporto tra la trasmissione del trauma e la possibilità della sua rappresentazione a partire da una volontà di re- immaginazione del passato nel presente.
