This article includes the edition of a medieval manuscript from the Cairo Genizah (Oxford, Bodleian Library, ms. Heb. c. 20, fol. 41r-v) related to the description of a ritual of clothing (malbush) with the Name of God in order to master the control of terrestrial and astral phenomena. First, it focuses on the techniques based on the mystical names of God in Jewish esoteric practices between Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. Afterwards, it studies the magical text from the Cairo Genizah.
