Abstract
In spite of careful selecttion of very homogeneous objects, both in terms of optical properties and environmental charachteristics, we were unable to significantly reduce the large spread in the L_x vs L_B plane. We confirm that optical luminositiies are not clear predictors of the X-ray luminosity in early-type galaies, even when environmental effects have been minimized by choosing a sample of truly isolated objects.File in questo prodotto:
